Color etching, paper, 28.5 x 38 cm;
signed in pencil by Salvador Dalí in the lower right corner;
limited edition: 250 pieces;
hand-numbered: 224/250.
Framed print.
The etching “Combat de Cavaliers” is part of Dalí’s portfolio “La Vida Es Sueño.”
The print was inspired by Pedro Calderón de la Barca’s play “La vida es sueño” (“Life Is a Dream”)
and perfectly captures the thrilling atmosphere of knightly battles on horseback, depicted in Dalí’s characteristic surrealist style.
